ARTICLE VII: AMENDING THE BY-LAWS.

Amendments to this document may be made upon the affirmative consensus of the membership following the unanimous recommendation of the elders.  Notice of any proposed amendments must be made three weeks prior to the date of their adoption by the church.  During that period, any member with concern or evidence that the contemplated change is not in keeping with God's word may make this known to the elders in writing.  Objections to the amendment will then be discussed openly at the meeting of adoption; after consensus has been reached, the amendment will be in force.
